Nice to meet you! Thanks for making it all the way over to my corner of the internet. I’m glad you’re here. Now, how did I get here? I first fell in love with photography when perusing my family scrapbook as an 8 year old. Even as a kid, I remember being shocked at how quickly time was passing. The scrapbook had a beautiful way of keeping the old memories alive.
Like a nostalgic song, or even a familiar scent, I love the way looking back at photographs can make you feel as if you’re still there.
20 years later, I’m a professional photographer who has photographed over 4,000 clients in Seattle. I’m a people person who values moments over things, and real connections over LinkedIn ones.
On an ideal day, you can find me editing in my local coffee shop, baking a new recipe, hiking in the mountains outside of Seattle, and playing tag with my rescue pup, Ollie.
fun facts
1. I’m from Texas, but I love cold places. A few of my bucket list locations to shoot are Greenland, Patagonia, and Antarctica.
2. When I was younger I wanted to be a Herpetologist and raised all kinds of reptiles and amphibians. (sorry, mom!)
3. My second mom growing up was a pivotal player in Texas’ animal rescue movement. Together we fostered over 400 animals. Now I volunteer with Dog Gone Seattle!
4. I love going hiking and backpacking, check out a photo essay on one of my favorite trips here.
5. I met my husband on the first day of college. We were paired on a camping trip together and got to know each other while hiking along the Olympic Coast.
