There is something so sweet about the tiny weddings. The focus is not on the couples guest lists and tight timelines, but on their moments with another. Renee and Jerry’s Seattle elopement felt so simple and perfect. The dress and suit felt timeless, as did their love. They exchanged vows privately at Heritage Hall in Kirkland. It was my first time getting to double as photographer and witness! Once the ceremony was over, we headed over to Discover Park for an intimate portrait session. It was a Wednesday so we practically had the park to ourselves, and we had such a fun time walking around, and soaking up the golden light. Renee mentioned that they chose their ceremony date based on Chinese fortune, and since it was one of the most beautiful December days in Seattle that I can remember, I like to think they got pretty lucky ;).
