Snoqualmie Pass, Wa

This family session was one of those real life examples of the quote “every cloud has a silver lining.” Shauna and I had planned this session to be at Gold Creek Pond on a day that was predicted to be sunny and clear. The drive out from Seattle is a little over an hour so when weather started looking bad, we almost cancelled. And when we finally arrived, we saw that the road out to the pond was temporarily closed. Whoops. No fear though, this open-minded crew is happy exploring anywhere, as long as it’s outside. And even better, we found another area that we had all to ourselves (And it had some beautiful evening light to boot). The boys spent the evening skipping rocks, chasing each other, and showing their mom and dad all the frogs they found…. I couldn’t imagine a better way to capture them in their happy place.
